Preparation before electrode connection

1. Remove the protective cover from the new electrode hole and check if the threads inside the electrode hole are complete. If the threads are incomplete, contact the after-sales service technician to determine if the electrode can be used; Check if the inside of the hole is clean. If not, clean it thoroughly before use (see Figure 3).

2. Screw the electrode hanger into one end of the electrode hole and place a soft pad under the other end of the electrode (see Figure 4) to avoid damaging the electrode joint.

3. First, use compressed air to blow off the dust, debris, etc. on the surface and holes of the electrode to be connected, and then blow off the dust, debris, etc. on the surface and joints of the new electrode; If compressed air cannot blow the surface of the electrode clean, it should be cleaned with a brush (see Figure 5 and Figure 6).
