1. When lifting or transporting electrodes, be careful to prevent them from slipping and damaging due to electrode tilting.
2. To ensure the good end face and thread of the electrode, please do not directly use iron hooks to hang the electrodes from the holes at both ends (see Figure 1).
3. When loading and unloading joint boxes, they should be handled with care to prevent collision with the joints and damage to the threads.
4. Please do not stack the electrodes and connectors directly on the ground. They should be placed on wooden or iron frames to prevent electrode damage or sticking to soil. For electrodes and connectors that are not in use temporarily, do not remove the packaging and prevent dust and debris from falling onto the threads or electrode holes (see Figure 2).
5. Electrodes should be stored neatly in the warehouse, and both sides of the electrode stack should be padded to prevent slipping. The stacking height of electrodes generally does not exceed 2 meters.
6. The stored electrodes should be protected from rain and moisture. Wet electrodes should be dried before use to prevent cracking and increased oxidation during steelmaking.
7. Do not store electrode connectors near high temperatures to prevent them from melting due to excessive temperature.
